The article considers various types of interaction of a Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) swarm (flocks, groups, swarms, hives, clusters), its capabilities for performing missions, features of such formations, advantages and disadvantages of its use. Variants of tactical use of UAVs swarm based on the use of various formations are considered. A description of swarm management methods is given, such as Markov Decision Processes, Q-Learning method, Policy Gradient Algorithms for the implementation of building a formation and performing the goal set before the swarm, its differences and advantages in performing various types of tasks are considered. Models of behavior during the execution of a task when using a UAVs swarm are described, taking into account control based on the above methods: Flocking, Select Nearest, Double Swarm, Flock, Rabbit, Assign Nearest. The results of the simulation of the use UAVs swarm to perform particular tasks and move behind the leader are given.
