Abstract A method for simulating spatial-temporary characteristics of pulsating flows in the varying-in-length-area channels based on the solution of one-dimensional nonstationary equations of gas dynamics is presented. The calculation results are compared with the experimental data, and it is shown that the method being proposed rather adequately simulates real processes in complex unsteady flows.
