The content of the article is aimed at planning the location of service facilities on a public roads on the international transit corridors of Kazakhstan. The basic principles of creating a roadside infrastructure with the growth of motorization, freight and passenger traffic in transport are analyzed. The growth of transit traffic increases the efficiency of using the reserves of transportation capacity of national transport systems, stimulates their reproduction and improvement. The consequence of the growth of transit traffic can increase the budget revenues, revenues of transport organizations and, accordingly, their effective development. The globalization of the economy and the accompanying processes of development of foreign economic relations require a new approach to the development of transport, the redistribution of freight and passenger flows. The growth of foreign trade requires a qualitative revision of the share of the transport component, but typical approaches to the formation this component must be revised.
