Intelligent traction power supply system has become an important subsystem of Beijing-Zhangjiakou Railway. The innovative application of the relay protection configuration of its wide-area protection measurement and control system and its intelligent functions such as hierarchical protection and self-healing and reconstruction can more effectively guarantee the safety of the power supply system. This paper introduces the intelligent wide-area protection characteristic of Beijing Zhang Gaotie intelligent fault simulation test study of wide-area security protection function, stood the domain from the local protection, protection, wide-area protection function of multiple level, through the power supply in the arm for many types of short circuit test research and safety analysis of protection action and the rationality of the self-healing refactoring, It has guiding significance for the further application of intelligent traction power supply system.
