The VitAMIn-ABC subproject focused on the industrialization of several CFD methods for usage in the aerospace industry. The topics treated included increasing the efficiency of computing large datasets, increasing the accuracy of the turbulence modelling by employing a local approach, the increased automation of the codes to reduce the human effort involved in the data generation, as well as additional activities improving the simulation capabilities of the software. Most of the goals of the project were reached or surpassed, resulting in a considerable impact on the tools and processes in use at Airbus D&S.
