Complex electro-mechanical systems are the foundation of modern industry and high technology, impacting human life safety and economic development. Their optimal design, manufacture and maintenance continue to shape the future of innovation and advancement in various fields. With real-time monitoring, predictive analysis and effective maintenance strategies, organizations can enhance system reliability, minimize downtime, and achieve cost-effective maintenance operation. This chapter proposes an operation reliability assessment method that realizes health monitoring-based reliability assessment and condition-based maintenance for complex electro-mechanical systems, such as the turbine generator set, compressor gearbox, and aero-engine rotor.
