The paper is devoted to numerical simulation of heat transfer enhancement processes in forced convective cooling systems based on split fins. The choice of the k–ω-SST turbulence model is substantiated, the numerical model is verified on the basis of experimental data, the optimal parameters for the depth and number of cuts of the fin edge are determined, and the analysis of the modernization of the working section geometry is carried out.
