The paper formulates the problem of organizing the registration, control, rationing and management of the power energy of electric rolling stock. The current state of on-board electricity metering systems makes it impossible to implement automated electricity rationing for the purpose of operational control and corrective actions aimed at the traffic modes of electric rolling stock. The probabilistic and statistical method is used as the main method of automated rationing of power energy consumption. On the basis of the probabilistic and statistical method of adaptive control, management and rationing of electric energy the paper proposes an algorithm for analyzing the efficiency of power energy used by electric rolling stock according for the trips. The paper proposes an algorithm for determining the causes of damage and the participants responsible for it in the transportation process when the locomotive crew does not meet the electricity consumption rate for the trip. The probabilistic and statistical method of adaptive control, management and rationing of power energy has been tested.
