Artificial intelligence (AI) is the ally that sustainable development requires inventing, executing, advising, and planning our planet’s future and sustainability more effectively. AI will, among other things, help us build more efficiently, use resources more sustainably, and decrease and manage waste more effectively. Combining AI and sustainable development will assist the industries in building a better planet; that meets current demands. ML and AI algorithms on data collected by multiple sensors attached to drivers, cars, and road networks allow new intelligent solutions. It also attracts extensive software development, sensor, and computer hardware businesses that push solutions as a service and works with car manufacturers to provide a variety of driver aid accessories. Companies are already employing AI technology to forecast the amount of energy necessary in the coming years and prevent and diagnose problems with energy-generating equipment (wind turbines, hydraulic plants, biomass plants, and so on). Hence it is essential to understand the ethical concerns related to using new technologies in ITS.
