Poor conditions of roads are always problematic as they cause public nuisance. Improper roads lead to enhanced traffic in a city. This is a direct discomfort for a passenger. It also damages various crucial components of a vehicle which affects the performance of the vehicle over long run. Despite all of these discomforts and damages, accidents are the major issues that have to be dealt for having improper roads. These roads get repaired after a survey which takes lot of time. In response to all these issues here, we try to provide an application that uses already existing components. An autonomous vehicle is equipped with a lot of components like sensors, cameras, actuators etc. for various operations. The operations may fall under mobility solution, safety critical functions and so on. All of these components try to reduce the load on the driver and ensures his/her safety. In this work we use the already existing camera to detect potholes on road and store the data with road condition. This can be further used for providing information of the roads so that the driver can decide whether to go with that road or not. This service can be used by other vehicles on Google maps and also the government officials using the database.
