All kinds of satellite motions can be coupled with the meridional motion in an exact and thus unambiguous way. This is also true for a coupling of the Sun-synodic motion with the meridional motion. Also, with reference to the Sun-synodic motion there are exact couplings with almost all other types of motion. Here in contrast to equivalence orbits with participation of the meridional motion, which are all in the range of 2 days, thus relatively far away from the Earth, also equivalence orbits in the range near to the Earth can be found. Among them are for the practical application significant equivalence orbits like the Sun-synchronous orbits, which can also be interpreted as satellite equivalence orbits.
