Abstract This chapter explains the implementation of software tools for setting up multimodal simulation scenarios in the Simulation of Urban MObility (SUMO). This implementation has been supported by the SCRUM methodology, which is a methodology suitable for incremental software development. Implementation of these tools starts from the re-engineering of open-source tools in previous developments. Furthermore, the new components are described and tested in a simulation scenario in the city of Medellín.
