The normal operation of Expressway Mechanical and electrical equipment is the basis of providing travel service and security for travelers. Mechanical and electrical equipment fault diagnosis is one of the important contents of mechanical and electrical equipment health management. In order to solve the problem of knowledge sharing and reusing in the field of fault diagnosis of expressway electromechanical equipment, this paper puts forward the ontology based fault knowledge modeling of expressway electromechanical equipment. Firstly, the problems and requirements of expressway electromechanical equipment fault diagnosis are analyzed, and then introduces the domain knowledge framework of expressway electromechanical equipment fault. Thirdly, according to the domain knowledge modeling process, this paper establishes an ontology based fault diagnosis model of expressway electromechanical equipment, and realizes the reasoning of the model. Finally, the feasibility of the model is verified by ontology instantiation.
