In recent years, rigid spacecraft has drawn great attention in theoretical research and military/civilian applications owing to its potential advantages in meteorological observation, satellite navigation, deep space exploration and so on. Attitude tracking control, which is in connection with the accomplishment of different on-orbit missions, is a fundamental issue for rigid spacecraft maneuvering. Various advanced control approaches, including sliding mode control [1, 2], inverse optimal control [3], fuzzy logic control [4], output feedback control [5], etc., have sprung up for attitude control system of rigid spacecraft to achieve expected performance.
