Intelligent Transportation services are emerging to elevate road safety, enhance traffic efficiency, achieve higher speeds, and alleviate traffic congestion. This study introduces an innovative hexagonal-shaped compact antenna meticulously crafted to encompass the vehicular communication band in DSRC/IEEE802.11p at 5.9 GHz and Cellular V2X (C–V2X) band. The antenna design is rooted in strategically placed slots and a partial ground plane. Operating within the frequency range of 5.26 to 6.74 GHz, the antenna resonates precisely at 5.9 GHz, exhibiting an S11 of −42.66 dB, a gain of approximately 3.01 dB, and an impressive efficiency of about 95%.
