A method for calculating the probability of wheel lock during braking with car is presented Car stability might be jeopardized or completely lost when one or more wheels exceed the friction limit. Generating of force in the tire contact depends on number of parameters, and some of them could be random. The paper deals with the behavior of the vehicle on the lateral stable and unstable areas.
