In the fully automated system for Sanyo Shinkansen train service, minicomputers installed in every station are connected to the COMTRAC (COMputer aided TRAffic Control) through the CTC network to provide automatic control of the display panel and announcement service for passengers, thus offering increased reliability of the system and quick information service adapted to the prevailing situation. In addition, this system permits minute service through delay time information of train by display and by public addressing.
