Airmiss statistics provide an appropriate data source to substantiate a requirement for enhancing the safety of aircraft separation. Lufthansa's route network is a worldwide one. But, naturally with a clear traffic peak over the Federal Republic of Germany. Therefore, the airmiss situation in this airspace is the most interesting case for us to consider.
