The efficient development of a reliable Test Program Set (TPS) can prove to be a difficult managerial task. However, the use of Structured Programming techniques such as outlined in the MATE Guidelines on software design, standard reuseable program modules, and a Program Generator can alleviate most of the problems of TPS uniformity and maintainability. This paper describes the implementation of a structured design methodology for the development of TPS's for Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) of an Electronic Warfare System.
