Real-time control system have continued to advance along with other electronic devices and are now being utilized in the heavy-duty truck industry. These systems are designed to electronically control events as they happen and provide up-to-date diagnostic information, thus increasing the operating efficiency, reliability and safety of the vehicle. Real-time control systems have a potential for many different applications beyond those which are currently being employed in the trucking industry.
