The Allieds' ECMs in World War II created for the at that time unprepared German radars a lasting predicament which strongly reduced their performance and effectiveness despite a gradually achieved recovery. This paper presents the ECCMs against active and passive jamming which were developed for the AAA radars. Highly successful techniques were realized in 1944/45 but did not become available to all AAA units in the field.
