The subject of stochastic linear programming (SLP) with recourse has been widely investigated in the literature. This paper investigates certain results when this theory is applied to generalized transportation network (GTN) which has a wide application in the context of a machine loading problem. Exploiting the special structure in the GTN, a computationally efficient algorithm based on 'operator theory' is presented.
