In today's Tactical Air Command (TAC) powerful minicomputers along with state-of-the-art software are being used to ensure that the tactical missions are accomplished. The automation of the key tactical command and control element, the Tactical Air Control Center (TACC) and the use of microcomputer technology in the Tactical Air Control System (TACS) are addressed.
