The technology involved in applying primers and topcoats to car bodies has been undergoing considerable change the past few years. Fixed air electrostatic spray has been proven reliable and very efficient in applying these materials. The process, application criteria and expected benefits of such a system is presented as a viable alternative to conventional reciprocating systems for both primer and color operations. (Wied)
