Pressure-wave superchargers enable the diesel engine to provide vehicles simultaneously featuring improved fuel consumption, reduced emissions and improved performance. The Comprex PWS has been applied to passenger cars with engines ranging from about 1 to 3,6 litres swept volume. Test experience totals a distance of about 1.5 million kilometres. The Comprex is now in the initial production stage.
