This paper presents a new nonlinear method in an unbounded flow for a finite cavity flow around a body of an arbitrary shape. The present method which is based on the Fourier cosine expansion and the condition of momentum conservation can be widely applied to various cavity flows. The numerical examples are given for circular-arc hydrofoils with and without a rounded nose, and the examples are also compared with experimental data.
