This work provides the results of labor test on MM-1000 and a full size brake test on a dynamometer. For the C/C composite, static friction coefficient is greater than dynamic friction coefficient. The friction coefficient is varied with the slip velocity between rotors and stators, and there is a transit speed, it is ca. 6.7 m/s. Friction coefficient is increasing with the slip speed and then decreasing with it. The slipping speed is more effect on the friction coefficient than brake press. To research the domination mechanism of wear the wear particle are observed with SEM.
