Piloted simulation activities can contribute significantly to the preparation of aircraft integration in force systems. Experiments and perspectives will be presented through themes such as 'mission preparation systems' and 'tactical data links'. The CEV (Centre d'Essais en Vol) simulation center is able to participate actively in this work and analysis thanks to both its expertise with regard to major aeronautical programs and experiments already carried out, such as, tactical data transmission between the land army and Tigre helicopter's regimental information system (SIR), and fighter craft mission preparation. Work in the future will be concentrated on the link 16 integration between the fighter craft (chiefly Mirage 2000, Rafale and Tigre) as well as the installation of simulation means enabling multi-simulator couplings on the Istres site and with other organizations (CEAM at Mont-de-Marsan, the Avord base, NATO experiments).
