Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) are a very flexible solution for the problem of integrating a new automated transportation line into an existing cleaner transportation environment. AGVs are used in both industrial factories and in cleaner health care environments. An AGV is a computer-controlled, battery-operated, and driverless transport vehicle of many different mechanical configurations. It is equipped with a variety of functions such as for guidance and routing, navlgatlon management and load transfer. This paper is about using a description logic reasoner for traffic management.
