Electrical power for the MUSES-C scientific satellite is provided by deployable solar array wings. The solar array is a small rigid panel type and the wings can provide more than 2.57 kW at EOL, using advanced solar cells. The flight model of the MUSES-C solar array has been built and the wing acceptance test is underway. This paper presents the electrical and mechanical design and the prototype wing tests results of MUSES-C solar array.
