Offshore suspended muline wells were traditionally abndoned with a jack-up drilling unit. This prompted UWG to devise a unique method of setting the plugs in the annuli and casings from a DSV using packers and perforating guns. As such, the system is now enhanced to abandon wells which require cement in two annuli and the casing. The system is developed for subsea wellheads and the latest upgrade allows the whole operation to be performed without the need for divers, which generates further cost savings to well owners.
