The growth and development of WindLogics, a company which has developed a archive-based weather modeling technology which consist of a set of very complex physical model, are discussed. WindLogics has been collecting vast amount of weather service data from all over the world. WindLogics compeleted a major wind integration study for Xcel driven by a regulatory initiative to determine the effect of Xcel adding 1500 MW of wind to the Northern States Power Grid in the upper Midwest by year 2010. It is found that WindLogics has also conducted a study for FPL related to Long Island Lighting and Power Authority's proposed project off the Long Island Coast.
