Results of car-to-car crash tests were examined to evaluate crash compatibility. The method of calculating driver scores based on Japan New Car Assessment Programme (JNCAP) was applied to the car-to-car crash tests. Self-protection and aggressivity could be evaluated based on the scores of the drivers of both vehicles. It was shown that the compatibility performance of small cars could be demonstrated with the use of delta-V of 60-70 km/hour.
