Noise standards and airport requirements get more and more severe. In the frame of R&T, a new tool has been developed by Airbus in order to identify, for a given flight condition of approach, take-off, or horizontal flight procedure, which parts of the aircraft are noise-emissive. This tool is a large microphones antenna, which design has been optimized to evaluate location and amplitude of the aircraft sources.
