This paper deals with a motion model for pedestrians in order to improve the collision risk assessment in traffic environment. Analogue to typically used motion models in environmental perception of vehicles a model for pedestrian has been required since a long period. In contrast to the used so-called bicycle model for predicting motion of vehicles, an adapted motion model for pedestrian's motion is of high interest e. g. for pedestrian pre-crash systems.
