This paper presents several novel methods of reducing automotive audio noise due to the ignition system. One method is to reduce the influence of the ignition system radiation on audio by changing the routes of the ignition coil from the present position to a new position. Other methods reduce the radiation itself by replacing wires connected to the ignition coil with wires of different types. The authors performed tests on a test car as well as computer simulations for the method of changing routes. For the methods of replacing wires, they verified the feasibility of these methods by testing in the laboratory. The simulation and test results in this paper include a comparison of these results. This paper also contains an analysis of the causes of ignition noise on automotive audio, simulation and test procedures to show that automotive audio noise exists and how the noise is caused.
