The development in automotive technology cause more and more severe requirements with respect to the uniformity and the properies of sheet steels. During the last years the steel industry modernized production facilities and introduced new processes. Especially the continuous annealing lines with different cooling systems make it possible to produce new interesting steel grades as e.g. bake hardening and dual phase steels as well as microalloyed steels with better properties.
