The time-dependent linear equations describing the interaction between athree-dimensional floating body and current and waves are solved. The algorithm combines the time-dependent boundary conditions and the Laplace equation, and integrates the resulting equation in time. The algorithm is stable for every time-step and ship velocity. The calculated hydrodynamic coefficients agree well with results obtained in the frequency domain. The drift forces have not been shown in the literature before.
