The increasing need for better pointing accuracy of antennas connected to spacecraft leads to a requirement for more-efficient controllers, which in turn calls for more-accurate identification of the vibration frequencies. Different identification methods may be applied in order to identify vibration frequencies. This paper presents the result from a study of identification of vibration frequencies using subspace methods. A mathematical model, for both simpler and more advanced spacecraft, are modelled in MATLAB and simulated using torque inputs. Acceleration measurements are used to identify the vibration frequencies of the spacecraft.
