This paper is concerned with the prediction and experimental verification of the interior noise of cabs used on consctruction, highway, and farm equipment. The typical heavy equipment cab is totally enclosed and partially lined with absorbing materials, but is much stiffer and more massive than automobile passenger compartments. The process to analyze a construction cab is explained in detail. Selected results are also presented to show the value of the method.
