Scientific visualizations and computer animations are frequently presented to show the results of simulation model or the opinions of a reconstructionist. A proposed standard for documenting computer generated images, animations, scientific visualization, etc. is presented. This standard addresses only images and videos and does not address the analysis or opinions being expressed by an analyst. Hence, it is suggested that the images or video being presented should be duplicated in order to fully understand the analysis.
