This paper proposes a hypothesis that ABS(Anti-Brake System) regulation of EVs (Electric Vehicles) could be achieved only by wheel motors. Based on the logic threshold method, an ABS control strategy is designed to verify the hypothesis. Furthermore, a model called four wheel motor drive EV model is originated with this control strategy, and co-simulated in both AMESim and MATLAB/Simulink. Finally, according to the rule ECE R13, this ABS control strategy for EVs is validated in theory.
