The environment of vehicular networks is developing very fast. G5 is the most advanced technique of all to interconnect vehicles and perform a vehicular network. Driving automation at low speed requires a coordination that will only be possible through a vehicle‐to‐vehicle connection. Intelligent transport systems (ITS) encompass a great variety of solutions to perform communication between vehicles. The new word used in the field of 5G to qualify communications in the vehicular environment is Cellular‐V2X. A cooperative‐ITS can considerably increase the quality and reliability of information available in vehicles, their location and the road environment. The ecosystem based on the PC5 interface must be able to function at any time, regardless of the mobile operator network to which the connected vehicle belongs. The protocol layers of Light Fidelity are adapted to wireless communications up to a dozen meters, which is the acceptable limit for communication between different vehicles.
