The focus of this chapter is on the control systems design of autonomous riderless motorcycles for agile manoeuvres. In the first section of this chapter, the external/internal convertible‐based tracking and balancing control design is presented. In the next section, a tracking error improvement by path‐following control design is explained. Both trajectory‐tracking and path‐following control designs are validated through simulation results. The chapter ends with a discussion of future research directions.
