The invention relates to the field of intelligent transportation, in particular to a pedestrian detection system based on laser radars. The system comprises a lamp post and a signal lamp arranged on the lamp post, and further comprises a control unit, an alarm unit and a plurality of laser radars. The laser radars are arranged on the lamp post and used for detecting in different directions, judging whether pedestrians enter a detection area or not and outputting a no-pedestrian/pedestrian signal to the control unit according to the judgment result. The control unit is in signal communication with the signal lamp, the laser radars and the alarm unit and is used for receiving a go/no-go signal of the signal lamp and a no-pedestrian/pedestrian signal of the laser radars and sending a signal to the alarm unit when receiving a no-go signal of the signal lamp and a pedestrian signal of the laser radars at the same time. The laser radars detect the sidewalk and detect pedestrians on the zebra crossing in an active detection mode, the alarm unit is used for alarming, so that a prompt can be given actively to indicate whether pedestrians pass or not, and the traffic accident rate is reduced.

    本申请涉及智能交通领域,尤其涉及基于激光雷达的行人检测系统。本申请包括灯柱、设置在灯柱上的信号灯,还包括:控制单元、报警单元、多个激光雷达,多个激光雷达设置在灯柱上,用于向不同方向探测,并判定是否有行人进入探测区域,根据判定结果输出无人/有人信号到控制单元;所述的控制单元分别与信号灯、激光雷达、报警单元信号连通,用于接收信号灯的通过/禁行信号,激光雷达的无人/有人信号,当同时收到信号灯的禁行信号、激光雷达的有人信号时,向报警单元发出信号。本申请采用激光雷达对人行道进行探测,主动探测的方式检测斑马线上的行人,配合报警单元的警报,可以主动提示行人是否通行,降低交通事故率。
