The invention discloses a vehicle control method and system, an electronic device and a medium, the vehicle control method and system are used for an intelligent driving system, the intelligent driving system comprises an automatic driving module used for controlling vehicle driving, and the method comprises the following steps: obtaining an image outside a vehicle; the first processing module is used for carrying out first processing on the image outside the vehicle so as to identify a pedestrian zebra crossing in the image, determining first information of the pedestrian zebra crossing if the pedestrian zebra crossing exists in the image, and sending the first information as sensing data to the automatic driving module; the second processing module is used for carrying out second processing on the image outside the vehicle so as to identify a traffic signal lamp in the image, if the traffic signal lamp exists in the image, second information of the traffic signal lamp is determined, and the second information is used as sensing data to be sent to the automatic driving module; and the automatic driving module makes a decision according to the received sensing data and outputs a corresponding instruction.
