The invention provides a pedestrian interaction signal generation method and device. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring an image of a road where a vehicle is located; identifying zebra crossings by using the colors of the pixel points in the road image; identifying traffic lights in the road image through a computer vision technology; identifying pedestrians in the road image by using a classifier; and if it is identified that there are pedestrians on the zebra crossing and the traffic signal indicating lamp is red, generating the pedestrian interaction signal. The interaction mode can effectively attract the attention of the pedestrians and enable the pedestrians to know the intention of the vehicle, thereby facilitating the optimization of the traffic flow and the improvement of the traffic safety.
