This article takes Cellular Automata theory as the theoretical basis of traffic flow simulation and presents relevant lane changing rules on the basis of the research findings owned by author that is a single-lane Cellular Automata model, which reflects the overall process of vehicle's changing lane on urban road, including production of lane changing desire, feasibility analysis on lane changing activity and implementation of lane changing activity. We contrast actual observed values and simulated values of times of vehicle's changing lane on condition of different flows. Then, we can find that simulation results basically conform to actual observation results so as to verify the validity of this Lane Changing Model.
