Accessibility is a fundamental indicator of location advantages. This paper presents one algorithm that measures time accessibility of public transit network using the bus line flow and transfer flow information. It first obtains flow and transfer information from the IC Card Toll System and estimates the transition probability matrix. Then the service area of bus stops is bisected by a Voronoi diagram. The time cost walking to and from bus stops is calculated. Finally, the average travel time cost of each location is calculated. One real-world public transit network in Kunming is calculated using this methodology. The area covered by the public transit network is first partitioned by 10m* 10m grids. And then the travel time cost of every grid is calculated, which forms time contours.
