Expansion of public aircraft facilities includes new 8200-ft runway paralleling existing instrument runway, secondary general aviation runway-taxiway, and extension of existing runways; terminal area comprises three terminal buildings disposed on overall oval form; each of terminals will comprise split 3/2-level main building connecting to three circular two-level satellite buildings; terminals will be supported by initial parking facilities for 10,000 autos, central heating and refrigeration plant, fuel storage and underground distribution system, airport operations building, and extensive airport highway net.
